Spring

Even though it's still snowing on occasion in Colorado winter is over, the snow has long since melted here in Virginia, and the snow gear is packed away until next season. Although it's sent a certain snowboarder into a bit of a depression she'll get over it, she's got a busy spring and summer ahead of her.

Right now we're working on finishing the end of the school year. She's also trying to ride her horse but between hurting her back at Nationals and hurting her knee after we got home, she hasn't been able to much. Her horse is going to get lonely this summer since Whitney won't be around much to ride.

While we're in between snow seasons right now, we're looking forward to two things - a nice long bike trip this summer and next winter when the snow starts to fall again. The bike trip will be along the Natchez Trace, from Natchez, MS to Nashville, TN. A long ride, but it should be fun. We're going with some other family members so it'll be good to spend some time with them. As for next winter, we've got some plans in the works and are looking forward to another good snowboard season.

I'd say the other thing I'm looking forward to is being at home after all the traveling I did with Whitney this winter but that's not going to happen. Her sister plays golf and it looks like we'll be heading around Virginia to a few tournaments, possibly even down to the Massanutten area.
